The Book of Eli

Year: 2010

Denzel plays the strong silent type this time around. There is very little blood and guts in this show, although animal lovers should know that the first scenes show a cat being killed for food. Aside from that, the action is good and the movie moves at a good pace. Some creative camera angles bring the viewer into some of the scenes in a unique way, and humor is used to lighten up this mostly dark film. The ending is excellent making this one of the must see films of the year.
