Two groups of alien robots, the good-guy Autobots and the bad-guy Decepticons, have brought their age-old battle to Earth. These robots can change into regular machines, such as cars. Sam Witwicky is the human hero of the story, as the teenage boy who gets caught between the two alien robot clans. Sam is unaware that he holds the one thing that both robot races want.
