A Mumbai teen, Jamal Malik (Dev Patel), is interrogated on suspicions of cheating after he answers all of the questions correctly on the Indian version of “Who Wants to be a Millionare?” As Jamal explains how an eighteen year old from the slums could know all the answers, he relates his life story in which different experiences have given him the key to answering the questions. As the interrogators learn Jamal’s true nature the answer that they want most is why he would want to win the game show.

Parasomnia

Art student Danny Sloan (Dylan Purcell) visits a friend at the local psychiatric hospital. While there, Danny falls in love with the beautiful Laura Baxter (Cherilyn Wilson). Laura is a patient who suffers from parasomnia, a debilitating condition in which the victim sleeps almost constantly and wakes for very short periods of time. When the convicted serial killer, Byron Volpe (Patrick Kilpatrick), discovers that Laura, just doors away, is being transferred to a different hospital he enters her dreams to keep her near him.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

He befriends a young girl, Daisy (Kate Blanchett), who visits her grandmother at the nursing home. The story follows Benjamin’s and Daisy’s relationship and his unique life as he ages into a younger and younger man.
