Ben Stein is a documentary about how members of the scientific community have been shunned for their association with intelligent design. In the film, Stein tries to make people aware of what intelligent design is, and that just because one is religious they can also believe in the theory of intelligent design. Other topics discussed are Darwinism, atheism, evolution, and creationism. Stein also debates with famous atheist Richard Dawkins in the film. Most of the film does focus on how scientists and educators who try to teach some of these
subjects are being banished from the classrooms in America.

Ghostriding the Whip is dancing or walking next to a moving car, with no driver operating it. This documentary follows the practice, and the people that enjoy it. Started in San Francisco, ghostriding is linked to the world of the hip hop youth parties. Mac Dre is a principal figure in the film, since he is thought of as one of the patriarchs of some of the trends that originated during the early days of his rap influence. The San Francisco Bay Area was where ghostriding started, and this film shows how the different people and movements of rap were brought together.

Charles Cosby is a convicted drug dealer, doing his time in a federal prison. While incarcerated, Cosby writes a letter to Griselda Blanco, knows as the “Cocaine Godmother.” Within six months, Cosby is released from prison and living with Blanco. He is enjoying a life of wealth and power with Griselda. But Griselda is known as a black widow, previous men in her life have vanished when they weren’t faithful. She’s determined to hold on to Charles Cosby, and he discovers the good life may have a higher price than he though.
