Jeff Bridges breathes life into the character of Bad Blake, who is looking for some happiness at the end of his career. With gritty realism, Bridges brings to this performance a sincerity that makes you forget that he is an actor. The soundtrack is very good, who knew he had such a fantastic singing voice, or that Colin Farrell for that matter? The cinematography is good, the dialogue is excellent. Overall, this performance has Oscar potential.
