Rebecca Bloomwood is addicted to shopping and now she has a serious cash flow problem. Rebecca desperately needs a new job and finds herself working for a financial magazine writing the advice that she never took herself. Her writing attracts the attention of her boss, Luke Brandon (Hugh Dancy), and they end up falling in love with each other. Rebecca tries to maintain her relationship, get a handle on her shopping addiction, and be true to herself.
