Instead of switching the dates for the weddings, Liv and Emma turn into bitter rivals as they each attempt to get the best location for their own special day and ruin the others wedding.

Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) finds himself in another adventure at the Museum of Natural History where all the exhibits come to life after sunset. When selected exhibits have been deemed outdated, Daley must save them from permanent removal from the museum. To make matters worse, one of the exhibits, the pharaoh Kahmunrah (Hank Azaria), plans to steal the tablet that allows the exhibits to come to life and use it to raise an army that will take over the world. Daley, with the help of the exhibits, must find the tablet at the Smithsonian Institution and stop Kahmunrah.
