To gain notoriety, teenager Michael Peterson tried to rob a Post Office in 1974. He was convicted of the crime, and given a sentence of seven years in jail. The movie follows the course of Mickey’s confinement, which turns out to be 34 years, with thirty of those years spent in solitary confinement. During his incarceration, Peterson grows from a boy to a man, taking on an alternate personality of Charles Bronson, who has been dubbed Britain’s most dangerous prisoner. This movie is based on a true story.
